archaeology
The reading passage states that archaeology in Britain has met with various obstacles. However, the lecturer is of the opposite point of view.
Firstly, it is said in the passage that a great deal of historic sites are now being damaged due to the infrastructure constructions. The foundation making process for the buildings may interfere with many valuable artifacts. On the other hand, the lecturer argue that examination is Always done before any construction to ensure that there is no harm to the historic sites. If it is the case, all the investor, the archaeologist and as well as the council will get together and take it into consideration.
Secondly, financial trouble is another hindrance shown in the reading. Yet, according to the lecturer, archaeologists will be paid by the construction company, which allows them to focus on the research,
Lastly, the reading says that many archaeologists have ended up with changing to other career because o flow-paid jobs and few job opportunities., the lecturer believe that the number of scientists in the archaeology is increasing thanks to the vast sponsorship of construction companies .
