Carbon footprint
In this set of materials, the author and the speaker are discussing the effects of global warming adverse on city life which has high footprint level. They are largely discordant with each other while the writer argues that is not easy green urban life, because there are many of obstacles. But, Speaker offers some logical solutions in order to overcome footprint problem. He has three reasons; city dwellers use bike or tram decrease carbon foot print, city dwellers produce to use more renewable energy, and people can simply grow food in major cities.
Firstly, the city population increase randomly day by day that has some serious results. The carbon foot print is examined higher level in major cities. Many of trucks get food from rural area to big cities while they have high contamination over the enviroment. People can live outside of the city, but it is not a permanently solution. They have to achieve food for feeding family. So, they use a car to go shopping centre or mall. Instead of using the car, city dwellers use bike or walk to go shopping so that decrease carbon foot print.
Secondly, City people use more renewable energy, and they can produce easily it. Technology has undergone a milestone and it supply many of solutions. For example, they use minimizing wind tribune on the roof or use solar panel. If they are patient, we can reduce carbon footprint day by day.
Finally, the author claim that it is impossible grow plant in major cities, because of adequately soil and area. Contrary of this, different solutions are found in urban life. For example, people, who live in new york, try to grow plant taprooms, balcony and front of the window. They can use miniature plant so that grow food.
To sum up, modern world people simply pass many problems and obstacles thanks to technology. Old fashion thinks has no connect with 21. century.
