Essay topics:

elephant and their behavior as a smart animals

The article states that elephants are able to behave surprisingly, which makes them as interesting animals for humans. The author of the reading provides three reasons of support. However, the professor explains that there are some misunderstanding about the elephants behaviors and refutes the author's reasons.
First, the reading explains that elephants are conscious about their death and support it by the fact that elephants moving out of their places in the end of their lives. However, this explanation are challenged by the professor. He mentions that elephants are not aware of their death or its time. According to the professor, most old elephants at the end of their life are not able to eat properly and because of that, they should find some softer vegetables which are abundant near water, and therefore they have to leave their places in order to find proper vegetables.
Second, the article posits that elephants have artistic ability by which they are able to recognize some artistic things like drawing of flowers or other elephants including themselves. The professor rejects this point by saying that elephants are sensitive animals which have the ability of learning some tricks including the movement of brush. Also, the professor states that elephants just encourage to draw and it is not enough to saying that they are able to recognize paintings.
Third, the author of the article mentions that elephants fear of mice and small mammals which are not a threat for them. The professor on the other hand, refutes this claim. He explains that elephants fear of mice because to them mice are a strange animals which are not familiar for. He puts forth the reason that if elephants be familiar with such small animals they will not classify them as dangerous animals and they will not afraid of.
