fossil own by private company causes loss to scientist

Essay topics:

fossil own by private company causes loss to scientist.

The article is about fossil ownership by private collector. It states that as the fossil are accessible to private company it cause unfortunate development for both scientists and general public. To justify his point author illustrate some explanation . However the professor sees flows in each reason and prove them wrong.

To begin with, the author states that as fossils are own by private company and they do not allow public to review and it causes decline in public interest in fossil. However the professor disagree with this reason and explained that private ownership is more of advantage than disadvantage. As private company have huge number of fossil, they display them at local school and museum and this lead o more number of population to know about fossil and lead them to a greater exposure of fossils.

The another point made by the author is that as private owner own the fossil because they have lot of many, so fossil are not available for scientist and universities. So they lose access to important and crucial discoveries about extinct life form. Again the professor sees this as incorrect and stated that although the private can own a fossil but the scientist are the one who identify that which is this or that. He further added that the scientist do the detail examination and this is how scientific community do not miss out any fossil detail. This shows that private has to pass scientist research before displaying it in museum.

The another point made by author is that as the private company people are not that much aware how how to pick the fossil, how to keep it in a ways so the scientist to do miss any detail, so this less knowledge can causes loss to research. However the professor sees it in other way, he stated that this can happen with trained person also, they also sometime misses some important information to collect. However as these private company can collect a huge number of fossil, it will be beneficial to this community because its better to collect fossil rather than finding none.
