The reading passage mentions that glass in one of the most problematic things that could lead bird being injured by them. The professor's lecture deals with the same issue. He states that the argument in the reading are not convincing and expresses three specific reasons to underscore his standpoint.
First, the reading asserts that one-way glass in a good alternative which helps birds imagine that glass is a kind of barrier. Nonetheless, the professor refutes this point. He explains that one-way glass reflex light. Hence, it acts like mirror and this solution is as bad as regular usage of glass.
Second, the passage addresses another idea that utilization of colorful design such as strip painting can be useful. The lecturer repudiates this point. He says that as reading clearly states, such a design needs an opening in the building. Hence, birds imagine can be easily caught by flying through them. Also, if the size of opening such as windows decreases another problem would stands out. Indeed, room would be too dark for their dwellers to live.
Third, the article mentions that magnetic field is another characteristic of birds that worth to work on. However, the professor in the listening rebuts this point by describing magnetic field features. Indeed, this feature helps bird flying to long distances. For instance, before winter, birds begin to migrate from cold to the warm places. Albeit, birds use this feature to travel so far, they use their visibility and lights to travel through short distances such as moving from one part of a town to the other side.
