The people we work with have many different characteristics and all of them affect the quality of our time at work. Of the following, what do you think is the most important quality for a boss or supervisor to have?
Today, people spend a lot of time in their workplace. they should connect with someone, and obey his or her commands to work better. bosses are the main persons of all kinds of companies, and without them, the company would not survive. In my opinion, a boss should have enough experiences, and it is vital. I think this way because of two main reasons, which will explore in the following essay.
First, an experienced boss destroys obstacles during a project. any kind of project in any field has many obstacles that you can’t predict at the start. A good team with beneficial co-workers and their technical abilities is the project’s fundamentally need, but you need someone to guide your team during hard situations and help your workers to embrace problems in the project. experiences roll like big data in a computer system, they help the system to develop itself and increase the general efficiency of the system. when I was younger, I was working for an engineering company, IDS, where the main field of working was system designing. In one of our projects, we made an enormous mistake that could destroy the project completely. The project was about installing a gigantic turbine in one of the small cities around Tehran. The turbine should be placed very precisely, and our mistake was miscalculating in the turbine dimensions. In that project, we had an experienced boss who had installed many turbines before our project. when I told him our mistake and showed him our calculation, he asked me for taking new measures and compare them with my calculations. After about two weeks, he came to the site and checked new numbers with turbine dimensions. he asked our civil team to open the turbine’s mount and rebuild it with new dimensions. it worked, and we installed that turbine very well. my personal experience is a sign of that claim.
Second, an experienced boss can control the project technically. when you have a complex project with many components and desires, you need experiences to keep you alert. Each branch of your project like financial points, workers, advisors, and timing can easily perplex you. A boss’s experiences help him or her to make everything obvious and manage the project for achieving the last goal.
In conclusion, I think that having experiences is the vital characteristic of a good boss because of two reasons, overcoming the project’s obstacles and managing different components of it.
