These days, people enjoy a lot of time away from their work and school obligations. Many people use this time to visit new places and learn about them. What do you think is the best way to learn about a place you are visiting for the first time?

Today, people have time to visit new places more than in the past. As we see in our society, people have to find somewhere to spend their free time there. I think that a museum is the best choice for filling our times and I have two main reasons for this, which will explore in the following essay.

First, a museum is not just a place for having fun and wasting our day. It is like a big historical class, and if you concentrate and listen, it will teach you many things. You can find out many ideas about the history of your country or society. Those ideas can be very curious. I have a personal example of it. When I was a child, during one of my family trips, my father insisted on going to visit a museum. Although we were tedious, we went to that city’s artificial museum. In that hall, I saw old breathtaking sculptures, and the guide told us attractive circumstances about them like their artists or their ages. For me as a child, visiting that museum was so gratifying, and after that trip, I tried to designate a special day in a month to visit museums.

Second, you can use your free day to go to a mall or playing games in an amusement park, but besides the limit of costs, actually, they will be boring in a very short time. Shopping can satisfy you just for about two hours, and after that, you need to rest; since watching vivid lights and persistent sellers can make your mood hectic. Those big and silence cafes around shopping malls are signs for this claim, and they roll like scape rooms, especially for men. Another reason for this tedious mood is that shopping or gaming are repetitive circulations. Generally, anything that repeats in a human’s life would be tiring for him. However, Watching an ancient pitcher will not be repetitive anytime.

In conclusion, I think that visiting a museum is one of the best ways of spending a free day for two main reasons. You will understand many beautiful stories about humanity’s past, and it would not be monotonous anytime.
