what is the main reason of our longer lives?
Without a doubt, people today live longer than in the past. I think that the main issue about this change in our lives is technological improvements. I think this way because of two main reasons, which I explore in the following essay.
First, technology has an enormous influence on our medical methods. In the modern world, we have professional physicians with many facilities and computer systems, which can assist them. They can use electronic components to measure anything about our health very reliably like blood pressure, brain functions, breathing procedure, muscle impulses and other indications of our physical health. Moreover, technology helps us to improve our medical solutions and remedies and makes very effective and herbal drugs. today, we can’t see any healing tragedies like the past, when there were some epidemic diseases and millions of deaths. Now we can, with our new computer-controlled systems, monitor our populations and check them frequently and finish any increasing medical problem as soon as possible.
Second, technology helps us to protect ourselves among nature. In my opinion, in the modern world, we don’t need to use our body’s stamina or our muscles for surviving. The new generation of transportation, industrial robots, predicting a natural disaster, the use of instruments in our homes and many other aspects can exemplify the technology’s effects on our lives. In other words, today, you don’t need to be so strong or perceive for living. As a personal example, my grandfather had a farm around a small village near today’s city. farming about two decades ago was tedious overwhelming work. He had to carve the area by himself and hasten the process by his neighbor’s help. Harvesting was another gigantic procedure. it doesn’t need to compare his life with mine, an engineer working in a company. Even if I wanted to continue our family business, it would not damage my fitness anymore. today’s farming is much easier. you can manipulate your farm all the time with new machines like combines, jacks, excavators, lifters and other industrial vehicles. As a result, the less you use your body for work, the longer you live.
In conclusion, I think that technology helps us to live longer.it made a revolution in our medicals and abolish our traditional means of surviving. Human is one of the weakest mammals on the planet, but his intelligence is the bright one.
