Some people like to travel with a companion. Other people prefer to travel alone. Which do you prefer?
In our modern world, traveling is the best choice for vacations. People usually can’t decide between solo trips or traveling with a group. I prefer to travel lonely because of two main reasons, which will explore in the following essay.
First, I think that trips are opportunities to face new populations and ideas. So it is boring to take your family everywhere, and travel with people you know them already. Besides, close friends meet you every day for some hours, and it is better to leave them just for a while on your vacation. I think that it is better even to not use your cell phone during a trip. Humans travel because they need to make new experiences and visit new places, not to spending more time with their homies. In my first decade of life, my father didn’t let me take a trip lonely. When I was sixteen years old, I traveled alone for the first time in my life. Although it was too short for me, as a teenager, it was an attractive experience. During that trip, I found out that when you travel alone, you have more time to face new things and new humans. It helps you to see regions with different religions, languages, foods, and mindsets.
Moreover, when you travel with a group of people, you must be flexible, and you have to match yourself with other’s desires. It is so confusing for me, and it doesn’t let me enjoy my journey. As a personal experience, last year I attended a group of our university’s students for camping. During the camp, we must live together for about five days. Every day we had a problem with our teammates’ divergence. Each member of our camping team wanted to impose others to accept him or her. I perplexed completely, and after two days, I decided to come back home. You need relaxation during a trip however, diverse desires would puzzle your mind. Traveling with people you love is so satisfying however, you should expect a hectic mood on that tour.
In conclusion, I think that traveling alone is better than with a group because of two reasons, in a solo trip you have more time to learn new ideas, and you don’t need to match yourself with other passengers.
