the possibility of life for humans on the Venus and why the professor is against it
The text discusses the chance of making permanent life for humans on Mars and Moon and provides three reasons of support why this project is not practical. On the other hand, the professor goes against stated claims and explains why he believes it is possible to have a permanent life on the Mars and Moon.
First, the text explains that the atmospheric pressure on the Venus is much greater than the Earth, and it makes everything crashed. In this way the text explains that it is impossible for humans to be able to live there. The professor goes against this point and explains that although the surface pressure of the Venus is more than the earth, but the atmospheric pressure of the Venus forty kilometers above the surface, is like the Earth and by making floating houses in that height, people can easily live there.
Second, the text discusses that the atmosphere of Venus is mostly made of carbon dioxide and nitrogen gas and lacks of any water vapor. Moreover, there is no reservoirs of water on the Venus, and it is needed to supply the water from the Earth which is really hard. The professor refutes this claim and mentions that by using some chemical reactions we can produce water from the carbon dioxide and the Sulfuric acid of the atmosphere of Venus. As the result, there is no need to supply water from the Earth.
Third, the text mentions this point that based on the presence of a thick cloud above the Venus, most of the sunlight reflect from the surface and humans cannot use solar energy as a source of their needed power. The professor rejects this point and states that although there is a thick layer of clouds above the surface of the Venus, but still it receives considerable amount of sunlight. We can also hear from him that technologies which convert the sunlight into power can use both direct and reflected sunlight, and they can even generate more Energy on the Venus.
