In recent years, there has been a dramatic increase in the availability of organic foods. Organic' foods are regulated by the government; thus in order to officially be termed "organic", they must be grown without pesticides or artificial fertilizers. In just a short time, it has become overwhelmingly clear that consuming only organic fruits and vegetables has a number of benefits.
First, organic foods have been shown to have a positive impact on human health. Most foods are grown using many chemicals, some of which eventually end up being consumed by people. Research has proven that eating chemical additives harms humans over time. For example, a recent study linked the consumption of artificial additives found in non-organic foods to behavioral disorders in children. However, since organic foods are grown without pesticides, people do not have to worry about unexpected side effects from eating chemicals.
Next, organic foods also benefit the environment. Traditional farming techniques dump hundreds of pesticides into the ground every year. Additionally, chemicals used in farming remain in the ground for many years afterwards. Organic foods, on the other hand, do not use any harmful pesticides or fertilizers. As a result, there are fewer pollutants entering the Earth's land and water systems.
Finally, the consumption of organic foods also benefits small farmers. Most of the world's food supply is produced and sold by large corporations. This makes it very difficult for small farmers to compete. However, the majority of organic foods are grown on family farms. Buying more organic food means that small farmers are able to make a living off of farming.

The lecture states that organic foods such as organic fruits and vegetables have a number of benefits for people, and provides three reasins of support. However, the professor challenges all these reasons and asserts that though organic foods have become popular, there is a missconception about them. Then, he rejects all of the athor's reasons.
First, the reading material avers that orgainc foods, which don't include pesticide or chemical fertilizers, have a wonderful effect on human health. It says an example of a resarch about bad effect of non-organic food on behavioral disorders in children. Conversely, the professor believes that faemers use bio-pesticide such as rotenent insteade of chemical pesticide. He posits that this plant-derviative pesticide has bad effect as much as chemical pesticides. As an example it cause a pancratic disease in human. Then, it is only a miss-information about the organic food which they do not have side effects.
Second, the author mentions that orgainc food benefits environment because farmers do not add chemical amterials like as pesticide or chemical fertilizers into ground when they are producing them. Nonetheless, the lecturer opposes this idea by explaining that farms where used to produce organic food have lower yields at least 20 percent. Therefore, to produce the same amount of food, farmers need more land. The more land they need, the more forest should be clear cut. He absoluetly disagree that the harm of chemical fertilizers are more than forests clear cut.
Third, the lecture points out that buying organic food is a supporting practice to help family farmers, since only the small farms are producing those organic fruits and vegetables. Controversially, the professor said that since thsoe organic foods have become popular, big companies and corporations are producing these kinds. He refers the students to look at the organic labels on the foods next time they go shoping. In overall the professor asserts that the organic food practice does not have each of the benefits which the author mentions.
