Summarize the points made in the lecture

Essay topics:

Summarize the points made in the lecture.

Both the passage and the lecture deals with the question whether if we should colonize Mars or Titan as a second home for humanity. The lecturer discusses the points made in the passage but reaches a different conclusion in each case. According to him, it would be much easier to colonize Mars because of several reasons.
First, he mentions the atmospheric pressure and resources that are currently present on Titan. The passage suggests that the atmospheric pressure of Titan is similar to Earth and it plays a crucial role in why we should go to there. He opposes the idea since people will still need to wear space suit in both atmospheres, no matter Titan or Mars. Additionally, even though Titan has more methane and minerals, the lecturer says that water is the indispensable element that we need to seek for and water resources on Mars are abundant.
Secondly, the passage claims that the lower gravitation level on Titan will allow them to land easily and it will reduce the fuel which is spent to landing process. The lecturer contradicts this idea because having more gravitational force is better for our health. Otherwise, it causes a lot of problems about our bones.
Finally, he opposes the idea that the distance is unimportant as we do not need a lot of rocket fuel while we travel in vacuum. He says that the greater distance will take longer time and it will cause problems for the logistic of the colonization.
