However, ordinary people may not be interested or effective in a HIIT workout except this person was already fit by engaging in traditional workouts.
The question on the effectiveness of HIIT is highlighted by the professor's example of how body fat was measured in the 1990s, using calipers. He mentioned the high rate of error that resulted from the study when same caliper used for body fat measurement could result in different readings. Alas, results from this study is still referenced in today's discussions on HIIT.
