Suppression of forest fires

She posits out that it would be difficult for oaks to grow due to the fact that this smaller vegetation would run over the forest, and as a result, there will be more competition for resources.
Finally, the author also affirms that wild animals will be benefited, increasing the number of their population. On the other hand, the academic says that the oaks' leaves would die, so there would not be enough food for deers. She elaborates on this pointing out that forest fires release nutrients which can afterward help the development of life in the forest.
