The text discusses an advertising tactic which is called Buzzing, and explains how this tactic can be bad for society and consumers. On the other hand, the lecturer who is a part time buzzer states that claims of the text is misleading, and provides some reasons to support the tactic of buzzing.
The article states that most of the consumers do not pay attention to the ads so the companies launch the new strategy to attracts consumers that is well known for "buzzing' also the passage provides reasons for support. however, the professor explains that it's completely unreliable and it gives a lot of misleading impression to the consumers of the goods and refutes each of the author's reasons.
First of all, the reading claims that the person acclaiming the production is received a salary from the selling products company. Therefore that given information about this product by advertisers is totally incorrect and they take an expectation from the false sources. Yet, the lecturer refutes this point by saying that the company doesn't choose the ordinary people instead of a specialist who knows about goods very well.
Secondly, the article posits that people believe all the advertisement through the TV or print and they don't realise being lobbed instead of just investigating. however, the professor says that consumer doesn't believe directly that information even though it's so persuasive. Interestingly, they more intend to ask a lot of question about the product then advertiser gives accurate knowledge.
Thirdly, the reading states that buzzing is the most hazardous to social communication with each other. Since, if you know that buzzers make a misunderstanding you'll probably willing not to trust them. In contrast, the professor opposes this idea by explaining that the product gives them a good impression and they do not think whether is trustworthy or not.
