TOEFL TPO 08 - Integrated Writing Task

The passage describes the Chevalier is a controversial figure with a valuable historical memoir. The importance of the book is because of the Chevalier's meeting with many famous people. Also, the passage says this book is not a reliable book and provides three reasons for supporting the idea. However, the talk rejects all these reasons by stating this book is very reliable.
First, the passage says that this person spent a lot of money for gampling and participating in parties. So, the passage claims that if the man was wealthy he did not need to borrow money from a merchan. On the other hand, the professor rebuts this idea by explaining that Chevalier do not want to wait for preparing his cash money. So, he decided to borrow money and it is a convincing theory.
Second, the text contends that it is clear that Chevalier had conversations with a popular writer. But there is a doubt in the accuracy of these conversations. How it was possible for Chevalier to write these conversations in detailes. However, the professor confirms the accuracy of these conversations by stating that Chevalier wrote every night all the details of his conversation with mentioned writer. Furthermore, he kept all his notes and eventuallu used them for his memprie.
Third, the reading claims that it is impossible that Chevalier could escape from a prison by digging a hole with just a piece of metal. Also, the passage states that he had many friends that could helphom. While the professor rejects this theory by describing that the accuracy of Chevalier's escape is verifyed in another reliable document. Also, the professor adds there were other prisoners in the jail that have more friends and they could not be free from the jail. So, how Chevalier could? As you can see, the text's reason is vot believable.
