Most of the employees will not accept the 80% of their normal salary. Now a days company's expectations are very high. They need more work with less staff. Most of the companies are requesting employees to work on weekends also because they have finish up their project earliest. If they recruit more staff they have to spend money and main important thing time for their training.
If, Less staff are there in company they will work in efficient manner, they won't transfer their work to others. Two days of weekend are sufficient to spend their families. Every wants to give bright future to their children with 80% of salary they may able to give them. If any mistake found in project we easily identify the person who was did. More control will be there on people. In these days It's difficult to find an efficient and knowledgeable person to work.
In one kind of the author said its true that by giving 80% salary we can give more employment to people. Because of this unemployment will be reduce. It is beneficial for country. They can most of the time to take of their family and friends.They will get more relaxation and they can complete their task easily with in the time.
But company has to spend much money for their insurance and other benefits. More space required and more people required in HR & administration department to handle all the employees records. One more thing manager can not handle many people at a time for a single project. Most of the people will not get their promotions at right time. Competition become heavy for the promotions.
By giving the 80% salary and recruiting more people there is no profit to company. It has to spend same money as which spends previously.
