TPO-02 - Integrated Writing Task In many organizations, perhaps the best way to approach certain new projects is to assemble a group of people into a team. Having a team of people attack a project offers several advantages. First of all, a group of people

The reading and the lecture are both about the project by a group of people. Whereas the author of the reading states that working in a group is advantageous, the lecture suggest that working individual is more beneficial than working in a group. The lecture casts doubt on the main points made in the reading by providing two/three reasons.
First of all, according to the reading, in a group of people working will wider knowledge, expertise and skill than working individual. However, the lecture disputes this point. He says that working in a group, some member has a free ride. Further more , he/she mention that some people will get benefited by not doing anything. And, the real contributor are not getting theirs proper value of their hard work
Secondly ,the reading states that the working in a group is very creative as people will come up with high creativity. Nevertheless, the lecture refutes this argument. He argues that working in a group is very influential, people do not consider other's opinion or idea. In addition, he points out the project will not go quickly, it needs more time that required.
Finally, the reading claims that group of people will take a risky decision and are responsible for those decision. On the other hand, the lecture believe that instead of discussion with other, with the agreement of few people the project decision are taken. He thinks that the blame of moving in a wrong direction of the project are consider all as few people was only responsible. Moreover, he feels that working individual is more healthy and good as it is guided by only one decision and is responsibility of individual.
In conclusion, although the reading and lecture are both about the working of the people in a group, the two/three main point made in the reading are effectively challenged by the lecture.
