The article and the lecture bote are argued about the extinction of the bird population. The article states that in the United States the bird population decline drastically and provide three reasons to support. However, the professor explained that the reading passage clime fewer and fewer birds are unconvincing and he opposes each of the author's opinion.
First, the reading avers that the rapid growth of the human population and their settlements leads to develop the new buildings and the offices, as a result, it distracts the traditional habitat of the birds. The professor explained that the urban population growth is only bad for the certain species. He further explained that some kind of the bird species like pigeons is drastically improving in the cities and the people from it keep on complaining. so he mentioned that the decline of the bird species in uneven and the uniform declination is not true.
Second, the passage climes that excessive conversion of the wilder land to farming stop the bird population. The professor contended this point by saying in the modern day's people are using less land for the cultivation. He illustrated that since the technology is developing the new variety of the food products are cultivating in a small land so the farmers no need to disturb the wild area.
Third, the article climes that increasing the chemical substance in the farming harms the birds. The professor cast a doubt in this point by saying it is not correct in the future. He mentioned that although the traditional pesticides kill the birds, in the modern generation people are implementing the advanced technology like pesticide resistance crops and the new and less toxic pesticide preparation which minimizing the use of the traditional pest5icides.
