As a result, many kinds of trees there were in the jeopardy of extinction. Therefore, the solution that the article has mentioned cannot apply.
Finally, the author of the reading states that research centers can preserve Torreya. The lecture, on the other hand, opposes this argument that to resist disease, Torreya trees need to exist with other plants in a large population and diversity community. Meanwhile, the research centers are not able to protect Torreya for a long term.
