In view of the reading, the author claims that in advert of the Moon and Mars, there is no chance for living on Venus by human, by pointing out 3 reasons of support. Finding the statements questionable, the lecturer casts doubt on the claim made by the article and presents some evidence in contrary.
At first, the author argues that so high is the atmospheric pressure on the Venus that it is not possible to human can have common life on it since in every square there is a force of 100 kilometers. It has been noted that in this condition, a spacecraft will be destroyed if human will try to landed on Venus. Conversely, the lecturer brings up the idea that the pressure on the surface of the Venus is not too high and the high pressure is related to atmosphere of it. So, it is possible to flow the station on 50 kilometers of the surface.
In addition, the reading passage holds the view that there is no water or oxygen on the Venus and owing to the fact that human need to use these materials, there is no chance for living on the Venus. On the other hand, the lecturer disputes this point by clarifying the fact that there are different compound on the Venus which provide the condition of water and oxygen production by doing chemical process easily.
Finally, the author asserts insuffisient sunlight that emit on surface of the Venus as the last point for supporting no life oportunity for human there. The lecturer, though, dismisses it by saying that clouds are in distant of 50 kilometers of the Venus surface but they still can reflect much of the sunlight. Besides, there is a little sunlight that provid directly by sun. So, it can be enough for living and people can use power station for having electricity.
