asteroids are some large space objects

The article states that some think that asteroids, which are some space objects, are favorable places to live and provides three reasons of support. However, the professor finds all the ideas dubious and unconvincing and presents some counter evidence to refute them all.
First, the reading states that asteroids have low gravity. Hence, they are appropriated places for setting up a colony. In contrast the lecturer refutes this point by stating that low gravity presents some risks, such as losing muscle mass, bone density and so on. For instance, astronomers who have traveled with spacecrafts, suffer from low bone density and lost muscle mass. Therefore, living for a long time in such places would have unfavorable effects on their residents.
Second, the article avers that there are some valuable metals in asteroids, which is very beneficial. Conversely, the professor explains that other factors, such as cost should be considered. For example, supporting the colony, or transporting those metals are costly, and will reduce the profits. Furthermore, the price of those metals might not stay the same. Hence, this assertion is not lucrative.
Third, the reading claims that asteroids are easy to reach. On the contrary, the lecturer opposes this point by saying that asteroids' orbits are not unusual. Actually, they get close to the Earth, and then, move away; therefore, it may seem that it is easy to reach them but it does not mean that coming back from them is easy too. Consequently, this claim is incorrect.
