In the person's life, he hears many truths and lies, which may or may not affects the life of a person or relations with others. No one can deny that there are both positive and negative aspects of telling the truth. If I were asked, I would agree with the point that telling truth is important in any relationship between people. I feel this way for a number of reasons which I will explore in the subsequent paragraphs.
To begin with, telling the truth means trusting others. If you tell the truth to another person, it means you have a trust in a person. Trustworthiness is the most important key to develop a good relationship with the people. I have to admit that my opinion on this matter has been profoundly influenced by my personal experience. When I was a child, I used to lie with my parents. I used to play video games with my friends and If parents asked me, I would tell them that I was going for a group study with friends. One day I got late with friends and when my parents called my friend's mother, they got to know that I always play with my friends rather than study. From that day, the trust of my parents on me got broken, consequently, they started to keep watch on me. I was also proscribed to play with friends because I broke their trust, moreover, our relationship got spoiled. For this reason, I started to tell truths to everyone eventually, I realized that I developed a good relationship with the people.
Secondly, we can flourish our quality of life by telling the truth. In particular, to make a business successful, business-partners must tell all truth to each other. The study proved that many good businesses get collapsed because of the lies between partners. In businesses, all people who are included in business should know about how business is making money and the financial reports. If not, business starts to collapse gradually. For instance, two years ago, my friend and I started a hotel business. My friend used to handle financials of the hotel and I used to handle clients. The business was getting flourished day by day, One day I came to know that my friend is diverting the hotel's money to the other business without telling me. For this reason, we started to dispute and my trust in him got collapsed, as a result, our hotel business also started to deteriorate. It is certainly clear to see why my trust got spoiled and so did our business. If my friend had told me the truth, the hotel business would have flourished as well as our life also would have flourished.
In conclusion, I am of the opinion that to make better relationship with the other people, telling the truth is the most important factor. This is because the truth means trustworthiness and it also flourishes our lifestyle.
