Essay topics:

Governments should offer free university education to any student who has been admitted to a university but who cannot afford the tuition.

The view which dictates that the government should aid the students who are not affluent enough to afford tuition is every college aspirant's dream.
How often do we hear about students juggling between searching for full scholarships, applying frantically for research & teaching assistantships and working long
nine-hour shifts at McDonald's? We wonder if Michelle Obama would have been just as successful if her parents would not have been able to dish out the tuition fee for Harvard and Princeton.

This is indeed a boon for students who aspire to go to college and would help them gain access to quality education. It would help to bridge the gap between the poor and the rich,
thus inducing a sense of equity. The newspapers often express the antithesis- how the rich are becoming richer, and how the poor are becoming poorer. The pith of the problem does point out how prime the factor
of education is. It is knowledge which these young aspirants use as a tool to make their mark in the world. You name it- CEO of Google Sundar Pichai, founder of facebook Mark Zuckerburg and the Millionaire investor Warren Buffet-
all have invested in quality education.

It is not uncommon to hear about students dropping out or not even registering for a college due to financial pressures. Many students who do attend college, eventually take up undesired or unrelated jobs in desperation, just to forestall the impending pressure of loan repayment. Students often engage themselves in jobs on campus, even if they are already working double shifts. This hampers their efficiency and inclination towards studies as well.

One may use a system of repayment, which has more lax rules than the current loan system. Not only does the college benefit from it in the long run, but it also keeps the student connected to the institute, and fosters the building of a large social network of alumni. This method also allows colleges to open doors to more students, and also further increases the college's success ratio.

In a nutshell, it would be prudent to conclude that a system where the government aids the student might serve a dual purpose- it will be fortuitous to both the educational institute and the aspirant.
