The bar graph demonstrates that the comparison of the Australian doing regular physical activity by genders in different age groups in 2010.
It is clear that the collected data about local residences were separated into 6 different age group with genders. Overall, the activity preference for Female was more than that for the man in the year.
First, the youngest male(15-24) group have most wiliness on sports, which led to the ratio of them reaching the peak(52.8%), while the figures decreased across the right of the chart(when they become elder), and bottomed 39.5% in the third group(35-44). At the meantime, the number of females revealed opposite changing tendency within the first three groups. The data grew from 47.7% to 52.5%(nearly the highest number).
Then, the number gap between genders become more narrow with age due to the growth in the number of males and the drop of the female regular sports population. The proportion stood at 43.1% and 53.3% for man and woman respectively, who belonged to the 45-54 age group in 2010, respectively. In the last group(older than 65), the percentage of such sports population of males(46.7%) was similar to the females’ ratio(47.1%).
