Overall, the percentage of unemployed men for the two progressive years is more compared to women.The highest unemployed rate was in october of 2009 for both men which was more than 25 percentage and women which was just below 15 percentage. In contrast the lowest unemployed rate for men was in april and july of 2008 (marginally less than 10 percentage) and that of women was april and july of 2008 and april of 2009 (just above 5 percentage). There was significant difference in the unemployment rate for men and women approximately 7 times then that of women in april 2009.
The unemployment percentage of both men and women are equal to or less than 10 percentage in three months that is january,april and july of 2008.The unemployment rate for men were 10% and marginally less than 10% whereas for the women the unemployment rate were in between 5 and 10 percentage and others were just above 5 percentage.Similarly the unemploment in other three months(january,april and july) of 2009 which were above 10% for men and equal to or less than 10% for women.
Additionally the unemployment rate for women and men more than 10% is in the month of october of 2008 and another october of 2009.The rate for men were just above 15% and 20% whereas for the women were just above 10% and just below 15%.
