Overall, women in age groups from 25 were more active, in contrast, a higher number of men from 15 to 24 were engaged in physical activity. The most active females were from 45 to 54 age group, whereas the least active were from 65 and over. For males, the highest number was noted among 15 to 24 years old and the lowest between 35 and 44.

In 2010, more Australian women, older than 25, spent time on doing physical exercises than men did. The percent of active females and males fluctuated from 47.1% to 53.3% and 39.5-52.8, respectively. 52.8% of males from 15 and 25 years old did physical activity, compared with 47.7% of females from the same age group.

In australia, the most active age group among females was between 45 and 54, 53.3% of them was engaged in physical activity.
