The bar chart gives information about the fluctuation of residential prices in five different metropolises of USA, Spain, Japan, Germany, and UK from 1990 to 2002 compared to that in 1989.
It can be seen that, most of cities had house costs increased, apart from Frankfurt. In the first five years, the considerable and minimum proportion respectively went on metropolis Germany and UK. Meanwhile, in the next six years, the residential prices had changed significantly, London reached to the most popular during the whole period.
The most noticeable point of fluctuation in house prices was the dramatically dropped of Tokyo and London. The figure respectively went on under zero percent. However, Frankfurt, a city of Germany, remained the biggest percentage on residential cost, at approximately three percent.
There was a clear fluctuation in the next period, all of cities continued its upward trend, apart from Frankfurt. During 1996-2002, London had a strong fluctuation, reached to 11%, which it the most considerable changing during the whole period. However, in the last six years, the residential price of Tokyo was still under zero percent, but it had a slight changing compared to the first period. Apart from other metropolises, Frankfurt slightly decreased, from three percent during 1990-1995 to two percent in the last six years.
