The illustration presents data of usage the world wide web by American women in different age groups from 12 to 65+ in two separating years of 2000 and 2001. All in all, it is clear that utilizing of interner had an overall downward tendency as females grew up and got older in both years.
Firstly, looking at the numbers of 2000, we can notice that the group, which was online mostly of the time, was the teenagers girls, who gained 90% of the population’s percentage. In comparison with 2001 year, where is the leader of using was 16-18 years old young women and what is interesting there was a peak on the whole downswing through the other age categories.
Secondly, just a fifth from the all proportion in 2000 and a third in 2001 the retired ladies of the 65+ years old went to the net and it was the smaller quantity compared with others.
To conclude, a fact that appearance in the internet of the oldest group increased on 10 per cent whitnes that the generally old women became more aware in modern trends.
