The bar chart illustrates the proportion of British people in different age groups who gave money to charity in 1990 and 2010.
As we can see in the chart, people aged between 18 to 25 had the lowest percentage in both years, although the number dropped by almost 10% in 2010.
People aged between 36 to 50 had the highest percentage of give away with more than 40%. The number lowered to 35% in 2010.Between age 51 to 65 had the highest donation in 2010 with 40% which showed a 5% increase from this age range in 1990.
26 to 35 year olds were ranked second least in both years (they only donated more than 18-26 year olds). their numbers dropped from more than 30% in 1990 to less than 25% in 2010.
People older than 65 were ranked third in 1990 with more than 30% . They had a slight increase to 35%, only behind 51-65 age range and equal to 36-50 year olds.
