The chart below show the global sales of different kinds digital games from 2000 to 2006.

The bar graph illustrates, the selling of various type of computer games in the six years of period between 2000 and 2006. Units are measured in dollars.
Overall, it can be seen that the most the most popular sales over the period given was handheld games where as console games was the least sale. Mobile phone games and online games all showed an increase in the number of sales.
At the begging the handheld games were almost 10 billion dollars in 2000 which raised to 18 billion dollars at the end of the period. In terms of online games, the rate of sale in 2001 was over 1billon dollars which steadily accelerated to nearly 7 billion dollars in 2006. While online games occupied approximately 3 billion dollars in 2003, a significant boost was occurred in the amount of sale which reached to its peak level in 2006 which was round about 8 billion dollars.
Sale of online games were under 6 billion dollars in the beginning but this remained roughly firm in 2003 and 2004 (4 and 3.5 billion dollars) after this point it fall down to almost 3biilon dollars in 2006.
