The pie chart gives information about, Australian school leavers in the year 1980, 1990 and 2000. Overall, the trend shows, employment and further education have major aspect after secondary education in Australia, with less interest towards unemployment.
During the year 1980 further education was at the priority which showed almost 50% of the whole share. However, this mode showed a sharp decrease to reaching about 38% and 37% in the year 1990 and 2000 respectively. On the contrary, employed people in 1980 were about 40% after leaving secondary school, but this inclination increased gradually over the years reaching about 50% in 1990 and 55% in 2000.
Regarding the unemployment aspect, this showed some fluctuations in the year's noted. Firstly, at about 10% in 1990 with slight increase in 1990 to about 12% with experiencing sudden dip to 8% reaching to its lowest of all in the year 2000.
