The charts show how different were the tourism statistics over 50 years from 1960 to 2010 for two countries Australia and Germany.
Overall, both countries had massive changes on fraction of tourism for each region. Also, there were surprisingly increases in number of visitors from Asia to both countries over the period of 50 years.
It is clear that the number of European visitors to Australia was significantly dropped. In 1960, more than a half of tourists were European, while other regions like Asia, USA, and Britain kept less than a remaining half. Moving forward to 2010, European visitors to Australia were remained very little, only around 10%. Instead the majority of tourists came from Asia, which was 63%, while USA and Britain showed little changes.
Besides, similar to Australia, Asian tourists to Germany also showed remarkably increase, from 10% to 25%. European who traveled to Germany had a slightly reduction in percentage, however, they were also the majority after 50 years. In the other hand, Britain tourists fell down significantly from 20% to 6%.
