Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

You should write at least 150 words.

The supplied diagram featured components of a neuron as well as their role in transferring messages. Overall, it is readily apparent that the signal travels through three main parts beginning with the dendrites, then continue passing on the axon to finally reach terminal buttons which are doorways to another neurons.
As it is observed, messages from other cells are first picked up by the dendrites, these receivers will lead the information straight into the cell body, also known as soma. This is followed by the axon, electrical signal runs along it to set foot on other neurons. Noticeably, myelin sheath which covers this channel is responsible to help speed neural impulses.
In the final stage, it is clear that the messages are divided into multiple ways in order to get transmitted to different other cells. Before being collected by the dendrites from nearby neurons, the electrical signals have to pass entrances called terminal buttons, these particular units form junctions with other cells. As it manages to successfully jump onto other cells, it will repeat the same process to deliver the messages onto other cells, and so on.
