The bar chart illustrates the views of 1000 youngsters in five countries on the most suitable age for three kinds of rights and responsibilities that should be given to adolescents.
It shows for marriage, Egyptians and people who live in Mexico believe that people can marriage if they over 16. While for USA and UK, people who live in there suppose marriage should be planed only for child who age over 18. The Japanese has the highest requirement for this figure which the age number is higher than 22. A similar pattern was seen in the results concerning voting age. The highest one appear in Japanese where people believe voting right should be given to people who age over 20. While the lowest figure for this appear in UK and Mexico which the number are just 16.
For criminal responsibility, the highest age still be seem in Japan which the age is 18. The figure for the rest of four countries, interestingly, are all lower than 15 and in USA the number of this figure is the lowest one which only 12.
Overall, the figure for all three right in Japan are higher than other four countries and USA has the largest gap for the figure in criminal responsibility.
