The bar graph provides information about the percentage and contribution of three sectors - agriculture, manufacturing and business and financial services- from 1900 to 2000.

We can see from the data that agriculture sector's share was significantly more than other sectors'. In 1950, while its percentage was approximately 50, manufacturing was almost 38. On the other hand, business and financial sector had the lowest ratio with 8%. If we compare business and financial sectors through the years, the difference between 1900 and 1950 was too neglectable but from 1950 to 2000, change was very dramatic, sharply. In 2000, it was the most competitive sectors than others. Especially, agriculture's change was considerably significant between 1950 and 2000. Manufacturing's change fell steadily until 1975 but decrease was more sudden between 1975 and 2000. Although agriculture and business and financial sectors took important ratio in 1900s, their percentage fell and persons' interest shifted to business sector through the years. Manufacturing was still second important sector.
