The line graph illustrates the percentage of two types of teachers who get teaching job on the first time from 2001 to 2007 in Ontario.
In the first three years between 2001 and 2003, the job for English-language teachers declined dramatically from 73 percent to 40 percent. French-language teachers, meanwhile, got less job as well from 70 percent in 2001 to 53 percent in 2003.
Between 2003 and 2005, teachers for both of languages had relatively stable job. That were around 70 percent for French teachers and about 43 percent for English teachers.
There was a remarkable difference from 2005 to 2007 in the percentage of first-year teachers. Regarding French teachers, there was a slight rise in percentage of people who got the job from 70 percent to 75 percent. In contrast, the percentage of English teachers fell sharply from 43 percent to below 30 percent.
Overall, French teachers and English teachers each group had a stable job in period three years from 2003 to 2005. But after that, the percentage of people who taught French language tend to go up slowly, while English-language teachers dipped significantly.
