it is evident from the graph that the number of highest internet users were among the age groups falling under 16 to 30 age in all these three years and lowest among teenagers of age less than 15 years old.
The number for internet users between the age group from 16 to 30 declined from 53% to 44% from the year 1998 to 2000, followed by people ranging between 41 to 37 significantly decreased from 41% to 37%.
However, the the lowest internet usage is among teenagers whose age is less than 15 and elder ones more than 50 years of age, but on the contrary, the percentage of both the age group increased dramatically from 2% to 8% and 4% to 8% from the year 1998 to 1999,and remains almost same upto 8 to 10% in terms of online activity.
Hence it can be concluded that the popularity of internet has decreased among middle aged group over these perioud of three years but grown its pace among youngsters and old people in taiwan.
