I am writing this letter to share my concern over your decision to close the community center. This center is an important part of our life where people of all ages can visit and share the time together depending on their interest.
Me and my family are active visitors to the centre. I am a regular basketball player and has been spending my evening time since childhood with my friends at this centre.This place is a central hub for all my friends to gather, play sports and enjoy different indoor activities. My father is also an active participant in badminton club where he along with his friends play regularly to be fit and healthy. While for my mother the park is a great place for a walk to rejuvenate from daily chores.
Many events are organised in the central foyer like birthday parties, weeding anniversary and local get to gather which enhances the love between community. We all have our different shares of time spent at this centre, many of us grow in this facility while for our locality this place is a pivotal point as it provides us a base where we all can connect and support other in their different problems of life.
Closing of this club will have a significant ramification to our lives. No place will be available for us to play any kind of sports, local harmony will be impacted as there will be no central place to meet and greet people. Togetherness that was achieved by a single centre will slowly deprive as there will be no communication and social gathering.
Therefore I request you to please consider all these factors before closing, if any monetary help is needed we all are ready to raise funds and support in every possible way to assist you in keeping this centre in place.
