Here, the map demonstrates the alters of Pentland area, over the period of 27 years.
Overall, It is manifest that the town undergone has significant changes over the period of the introduction with many facilities.
At a first glance, the map reveals that in the year 1980, in Pentland area, there was a road which connect in all the fours directions, in the northern side of the area a huge sea was located and in the western side of the road, industrial area were placed, opposite side of that area a car park was attached towards that road. It is interesting to note that the in the south- east side glass land were presented with full of grass.
Further analysis of the map portrays after 27 years that the road remain same in all the four directions, yet plethora of changes has been took place. In the side of north a huge sea is demolished and converted into yacht marina and similar to the car park. It can be clearly seen that the in the south- west direction a cinema has been developed and opposite to that there are serval houses which attached together. The location of car park had been changed from east to west.
