With the technological advancement the usage of internet has also surged rapidly. Eventhough one cannot ignore the fact that it has made our life easier, there are also certain disadvantages associated with it.
Firstly, the use of internet has caused a lack of knowledge and understanding in people for instance with the increase use of internet, the issues of cyber crime are also increasing rapidly and people are facing frauds,fake mails are sent claiming people that they have won lottery, free gift hampers etc and in return when the host share their bank details, they loose a huge sum of money. Furthermore when people use net banking there are various cases where the money couldn’t reach the destination and the refund process is very tedious. while Shopping via internet there are chances of receiving fake items and products of cheaper qualities, it is better to visit the store and to analyze the product before buying it if time permits.
Overuse of internet has made people of todays generation very lazy, with the increasing hype of internet in society peoples involvement in physical activities has reduced drastically.people arenot ready to get out of their comfort zone and this has very negative impact on their health.
However one cannot ignore the fruitful outcome caused by internet, one hour of long queue in bank can be easily avoided and the work can be completed with just one tap from our home.booking has been made easier with the option of virtual tour, Physically disable people has accessibility to almost every hook and corner through internet.
To put my though in nutshell people should use internet whnever necessary but shouldnot be totally disconnected from the society. Ony limited and necessary transaction should be done through internt and if any risk is involved going in person will be the best choice.
