Percentage of national consumer expenditure by categories-2002

The given table illustrates the data of expenditure on five various items consumed in five different countries in the year of 2002.
Overall, it can be noticed that, all countries has spent highest amount on foods, drinks and tobacco, while lowest money paid for leisure and education.
Turning back to details, Turkey spent highest on foods, drink and cigarette which is 32%.However,Sweden paid lowest in this criteria which is 15.77% .Italy and Spain spent money 16.36% and 18.80% respectively. 28.91% was paid by Sweden on the same items in 2002.
For leisure and education, Turkey paid 4.35% which was the highest percentage among other four countries. Sweden paid second highest amount. Italy and Ireland’s expenditure was 3.20 %and 2.21%.In this sector Spain (1.98%) has spent the lowest money.
All countries spent less 10% on clothes and footware.Italians has showed highest desires on these criteria of 9% expenditure than other. Approximately, Turkey showed near demand of 6.63% on clothes and footware. Ireland and Spain showed almost same amount of 6.43% and 6.51% respectively. Meanwhile, Sweden people had lowest desire to clothing (5.40%).
