The Table below shows the results of a survey that asked 6800 Scottish adults (aged 16 years and over) whether they had taken part in different cultural activities in the past 12 months.

The given table lists the results of a survey about different cultural activities in which 6800 scottish adults (aged 16 years or above) participated in past 1 year.
Overall, the percentage of adults (aged 16 and over) who took part in activities related to performance was comparatively higher than other activities. This percentage was closely followed by adults who took part in craft activities. The percentage of adults were almost similar in cultural purchases and visual art activities. Participants in activities related to writing and computer were quite low.
It is evident that, adults aged between 16-24 actively participated in performance related activities, accounting to 35%. However, in this participation percentage decreased as the age increased. Elderly people aged between 45-74 preferred craft related activities accounting to 22% whereas it was least preferred by young ones aged between 16-24 constituting just 11%. A similar kind of trend was seen in participants of cultural purchases, as in this adult aged 16-24 were similar to craft activity. However, the total participation percentage of cultural purchases and visual arts was almost same accounting to 16% and 15% respectively.
The total percentage of people who took part in writing and computer based activities was approximate same accounting just 7% and 6% respectively.
