The bar charts below show the number of hours each teacher spent teaching in different schools in four different countries in 2001.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
You should write at least 150 words.

The histogram illustrates how much teaching hours spent on Primary, Lower Secondary, and Upper Secondary in Japan, Spain, Iceland, and the USA in 2001.

Overall, all the countries gave priority of teaching hours on Upper Secondary, while the teaching hours which were spent on Primary was less than Lower Secondary and Upper Secondary in above four countries.

In the survey, nearly 1200 teaching hours(TH) was spent on the US in Upper Secondary, so it was clearly the maximum figure among those. Additionally, the US teachers spent the about 1000TH on Lower Secondary and approximately 750(TH) on Primary, so the number of both of these two categories were larger than other countries. Although the Japanese teachers spent the lowest teaching hours(700TH) on Upper Secondary, the Japanese educational system was more balance than other countries, which spent teaching hour on three group between the 600 and 700 TH.

By contrast, the teachers of Iceland and Spain nearly share the same figure of teaching time(about 900TH) on Upper Secondary, but Iceland spent less than 700 teacher hours on both Primary and Secondary, and these figure are lower 70 and 150TH than did Spain in Primary and Secondary respectively.
