Dear David,
I hope you're as fit as a fiddle. Firstly, thank you for the get-well-soon card and books you have gifted me. I have looked for these books since January.
As you know, due to the leg fracture, I'm stuck inside the home on complete bed rest. it's hard to spend the time, but I'm utilizing it by doing things I have longed for some time. I have started reading books and have completed some of them. Moreover, I get to spend some time with my dog and family. my dog Fluffy helps me avoid boredom, and my parents take day-off alternatively from work to stay with me.
As far as recovery is concerned, it is going pretty well. According to doctors, I will be able to walk next week onwards, and I can resume school from the next month.
Once again thank you for the warm wishes. I miss school a lot and hope to see you soon.
