Ms Anderson

I am writing with regard to the German training trip which the company is organizing. Since there are limited places, I want to request for this training.

As you are informed, I have been recently entitled as the head of export team in sales department. Based on the annual reports which I am reading these days, our German clients are at the second position after English clients. Therefore, honing our German speaking skills might be extremely beneficial.

In order to boost my German language, I started self studying and I could reach an acceptable level in some months. However, being in a German atmosphere can help me test my ability. In addition, becoming familiar with German culture gives me the chance to shape strong bonds with German leads and take part in regional market as well.
I hope you consider the importance of this trip to me and the benefits I can attract to the company.

Looking forward to hearing from you
