The line graph indicates the quantity of packages that were transported by two large postal companies between 1920 and 2000.
There are two clear trends in the data. Firstly, two companies the Federal Express and the TNT Mail Services demonstrated a consistent rise in delivery during the first 25 years. In addition, from the beginning a transportation of the Federal Express had soared up approximately to 23 000 of parcels in 1935 and reached the highest rate during the all period. Moreover, it can be seen that the Federal Express’s delivery plummeted down roughly to 12 000 in 1960 and acquired practically the same result as the TNT Mail Services. However, then The trend was slightly increasing till 1980 and remained steadily at the level of 17 000 packages by 2000.
By contrast, the number of parcels transported by the TNT Mail Services was continuously growing from the beginning before drop in 1970. Nevertheless, a delivery of this company rocketed nearly up to 22 000 in 1990 and gained the elevated result of 24 000 parcels in 2000.
Overall, the TNT Mail Services’ delivery demonstrated gradually upward tendency, whereas the Federal Express trend was constantly rising and falling throughout the all period.
