Dear James,
Thank you for agreeing to look after my house and my dog Oliver in my absence. I really appreciate all your help while I am away.
If you need to contact me, I will be staying at Hotel Kingston, Hammersmith. However, if its urgent, you can ring me on my mobile phone which will be with me at all times.
Oliver needs to be fed twice daily. You can give him a bowl full of pet cereal that's kept in the cupboard underneath the sink. Also, please ensure he is well hydrated during the day and is drinking plenty of water. You can give him a bowl of milk in the evening.
I would like you to ensure that the gas pipeline is switched off from the main switch in the nights. Also would like you to check my mailbox every morning and switch on the theft alarm before you go to bed in the night.
I look forward to seeing you on my return.
