You live in a room in college which you share with another student. However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it very difficult to work. Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In the letter, • describe the situation • explain your problems and why it is difficult to work • say what kind of accommodation you would prefer

Write at least 150 words

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter to express my dis-satisfaction with my room-mate and request for another accommodation next term.

My room-mate has friends visiting all the time. They make a lot of noise which makes it extremely difficult for me to focus on my studies. They party till late nights, play loud music and leave all the junk around. I have tried speaking to my room-mate regarding the same and suggested them to sit in the common lounge but nothing has changed and he has left my concern unheard.

I have examinations coming up next term and it would be very inconvenient for me to study in such an environment. I would prefer moving to a personal room next term so that I don’t have to face a similar situation again.

I request you to look into this this as a matter of urgency and please book me in a personal room for next term.

In anticipation of your favorable response.

Thanks and Regards

Sumit
