A large company in your area has decided to spend a certain amount of money, either to sponsor a local children’s sports team for two years, or to pay for two open-air concerts. It has asked for feedback from the general public.
describe the benefits of sponsoring the sports team
summarise the benefits of paying for the concerts
say how you think the company should spend the money
Dear Sir or Madame,
My name is Phil Collins and I am writing to you in regards to the current feedback received from the general public for the money to be spent in our community.
I would like to emphasize that sponsoring the sports team would bring some benefits, such as new uniforms to the team , maintenance to our small stadium and most important is to have your brand in our uniforms.
On the other hand, we have people requesting the local authorities if they can bring open-air concerts more often. There are open areas close to the stadium that can be used for his can of events. There are plenty of benefits, but I would like to summarize by saying that our local cafes, restaurants and some other businesses would get an extra income.
It is important to mention that my thinking on it, is that your company should spend the money on sponsoring our sport team due to the expectation for them to win provincial games and get into the next category level, where your brand will be shown to the whole country.
Sincerely Yours
Phil Collins
